Services: from a fit check to a full growth partnership

Ontario.Partners is for owners who are tired of paying for activity and want to pay for outcomes. Through the Growth Partner Program, Ali Sedighi invests his time upfront, is paid on measurable results, and puts the terms in writing before anything starts. Behind it is the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group, a Canadian consulting group with its head office in Vancouver, BC, and the person you deal with is Ali Sedighi, MBA, himself. Partnerships are limited, so the first step is finding out honestly whether yours would work.

What "performance-based" actually means here

It means Ali's pay depends on results you can both see, not on hours logged or reports delivered. Four things define the program, and nothing else is promised:

  • Performance-based. Payment is tied to the outcome, not to effort.
  • Time upfront. Ali puts in the early diagnostic and planning work before the arrangement pays him anything.
  • Measurable results. What counts as a result is defined in advance, along with where the record of it lives.
  • Custom written terms, limited places. Every partnership has its own agreement, and only a few run at once.

There is no standard percentage, revenue share or rate card. If someone tells you there is, they are not describing this program. The Growth Partner Program page explains the structure in more detail.

Who this suits in Ontario, and who it doesn't

It suits established businesses with a product or service people already buy, a way to count new customers, and room to take on more work. A Waterloo software consultancy, a Durham Region renovation firm or an Ottawa clinic group can all qualify; the industry matters less than the numbers.

It usually doesn't suit:

  • start-ups still testing whether anyone will pay
  • businesses with no record of where customers come from, and no willingness to start one
  • owners whose capacity is already full, since more demand only creates a waitlist
  • anyone who wants a promise of a fixed result

If that's you, the fixed-fee consulting options are often a better first step, and they can build the records a partnership would need later.

A worked example of why measurement comes first

Before anyone talks about payment, both sides need to agree what one new customer is worth. Here is a simple illustration with made-up numbers you can replace with your own:

Your number Example
Average sale or job $3,200
Gross margin 40%
Gross profit per sale $1,280
New customers per month today 18
Monthly gross profit from new customers $23,040

If better follow-up and stronger search visibility lifted new customers from 18 to 22 a month, that is four extra sales and about $5,120 more gross profit each month. Notice that the example says nothing yet about how Ali would be paid. That conversation comes later, and a performance arrangement only makes sense when that kind of change can be counted reliably, which is why the results measurement setup often comes before anything else.

How a partnership gets started

It starts with a conversation, not a contract. The first conversation is free and carries no obligation. From there:

  1. We look at your numbers, your current marketing and your sales process together.
  2. A fit and baseline assessment checks whether results can be measured and grown.
  3. If it fits, the terms are drafted in writing: the baseline, the measure, the record, how payment works, the term and how either side can end it.
  4. Only then does the growth work begin.

We recommend having your own lawyer and accountant review any agreement. We provide business and marketing consulting; we don't give legal, tax or securities advice, and the program is a way of paying for consulting, not a form of financing.

Proof from our HVAC work

Our published case studies come from the HVAC sector, where the group's portfolio began, and we present them as exactly that. CombiBoiler.ca reached 300% ROI and 300+ monthly leads, and HVACDeal.ca produced 500+ leads at a 12:1 ROI. These are results from our HVAC work, not results in your industry. What transfers is the method: measure first, then grow what is measured. See all results for what each one shows.

Covering the whole province

We work with businesses across Ontario, by video call or in person as well as by call, text and email. We've written dedicated pages on the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Waterloo Region and Guelph, Halton and Niagara and Barrie and Simcoe County, and the areas hub covers the rest of the province. Ali leads the consulting practice at Sedighi.ca; the group's wider consulting services are at BusinessConsulting.ca.

To ask whether a partnership could work for you, call or text (604) 632-4959 or email Ali@Sedighi.ca. Tell us your industry, your city and roughly what a new customer is worth to you.

How it works

  1. Bring three numbers

What a typical sale or job is worth to you, roughly how many you win in a normal month, and where those customers come from today. Rough is fine for a first talk.

  2. Test the fit together

We check whether results can be measured cleanly and whether there is room to grow them. If a partnership doesn't suit, we say so and point you to a better option.

  3. Get terms in writing

If it fits, the baseline, the measure and the way Ali is paid are written down before work starts. Call, text or email; you'll talk to a senior strategist.

Frequently asked questions

What is Ontario.Partners?

Ontario.Partners offers the Growth Partner Program to businesses across Ontario. It belongs to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of Canadian companies, whose head office is in Vancouver, BC, and Ali Sedighi, MBA, runs it personally.

How does the Growth Partner Program work?

It is a performance-based partnership. Ali invests his time upfront and is paid on measurable results, and the terms are custom and written for each business before any work begins. Only a limited number of partnerships run at a time.

Do you publish a percentage or a revenue share?

No. There is no standard percentage, share or rate for the program, because the right structure depends on your margins, your sales cycle and what can be measured. Terms are agreed in writing, case by case.

Can you promise a certain amount of growth?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can do is agree in writing how results will be measured and how payment follows them, so both sides carry the risk of the work not paying off.

What if my business isn't a fit for a partnership?

Then we will tell you plainly. Many owners are better served by hourly advice, a defined project or a monthly retainer, all with published price ranges on our pricing page.

You're based in Vancouver. How does that work for an Ontario business?

Our office hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific, which is noon to 9 p.m. Eastern, so evening calls after your workday are easy. The work itself happens in your numbers, your website and your sales process, all of which we can review together by video call or in person.
